PRIVACY NOTICE
Promoter: Mentawai Surf Retreat 2020 Ltd, trading as Mentawai Surf Retreat® (MSR).

1. Information We Collect
When entering our competition, we collect your name, email address, country, age, preferred 2027 trip, number of friends you may wish to bring, and your answer about what interests you most about Mentawai Surf Retreat.
We also record your acceptance of the Competition Terms & Conditions, your optional marketing preference, and submission information such as the date and time of entry.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use this information to:
Administer the MSR 2027 Surf Trip Giveaway.
Check eligibility and prevent duplicate or fraudulent entries.
Conduct the prize draw and contact the winner.
Arrange the winner's prize and any applicable accompanying-guest offers.
Maintain appropriate competition records.
Send MSR news, special offers and future competition announcements only if you have separately opted in to receive marketing communications.
Entering the competition does not automatically subscribe you to marketing emails.
3. How Your Information Is Stored and Shared
Competition entries are collected through Jotform and recorded in Google Sheets.
We use these services to manage competition information. Personal information may be processed or stored outside New Zealand.
Access is restricted to authorised personnel and service providers who need the information for legitimate competition administration or related services.
We do not sell entrants' personal information.
4. Marketing Communications
Receiving promotional communications is entirely optional and does not affect your chances of winning.
If you opt in, we may email you MSR offers, surf trip news and future promotions.
You can unsubscribe at any time using the unsubscribe instructions in our promotional emails or by contacting us.
5. Data Retention
We retain competition information only for as long as reasonably necessary to administer the promotion, verify the results, resolve enquiries and meet applicable legal obligations.
Information no longer required will be securely deleted or anonymised.
If you have opted into marketing communications, your contact details may be retained for that purpose until you unsubscribe or request deletion, subject to applicable legal requirements.
